Islamabad police book Imran Khan, Bushra, others in fraud charges

A case has been registered against Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, and others under forgery charges in Islamabad,” the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
As per the first information report (FIR) registered in the Barakahu police station in Islamabad on June 6, it is stated that a case has been registered against PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Shehzad Akbar, Farah Gogi, Zulfi Bukhari, and others under section 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the PPC 1860.
The petitioner Nasim Ul Haq who deals with the sale and purchase of expensive watches in Islamabad claimed that PTI chief Imran Khan and others used his shop's letterhead and forged signatures to sell Toshakha gifts.
He claimed that Imran Khan and others damaged his reputation by creating fake receipts for watches, cufflinks, and other gifts. According to the petitioner Haq, he never bought or sold any such items.
The applicant held that the accused in collusion, connivance, by assisting, abetting, conspiring, and engaging with each other fraudulently not only prepared, fake, forged receipts regarding Toshakhana Gifts such as watches, and cufflinks but also submitted/ executed the same as genuine on which an independent verification is being conducted and the same has established these receipts as fake and forged.
