The security forces killed two terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, ISPR said on Tuesday.

An intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Khyber district, the military media wing said, adding that after an intense exchange of fire, ring leader Shamrooz, alias Sheenay, was killed.

In another operation, the security forces killed terrorist Mansoor in Dera Ismail Khan district, it maintained.

The security forces also recovered arms, ammunition and explosives, ISPR said, adding that the dead were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities like targeting security forces, extortion & target killings of civilians,

Locals lauded the security forces for fighting for peace.
