Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation, and General Austin Scott Miller, Commander of Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday. 

Matters of mutual interest, regional security and the ongoing Afghanistan Reconciliation Process were discussed during the meeting, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the Pakistan Army. The visiting dignitary greatly appreciated Pakistan's role in the ongoing peace process.
