Former National Champion and international boxer, Chaudhry Muhammad Shoaib, from Lahore, embarked on a heartfelt journey to pay tribute to his boxing hero, Muhammad Ali. Shoaib, a former captain of the national boxing team and cousin of renowned weightlifter Aqeel Javed Butt, Media Coordinator Pwlf Sohail Javed Butt, reached the grave of Muhammad Ali to recite Fatiha and express his admiration for the legendary boxer.

Shoaib is Son of Late Chaudhary Mohammad Ali Engineer Deputy Director Wapda Water Wing resident of Wapda town.

Chaudhry Muhammad Shoaib Sidhu achieved significant milestones in his boxing career, winning a gold medal for Punjab in the bantamweight category at the National Games in Peshawar in 1990. His achievements also include representing Pakistan in the World Junior Boxing Championship in Petro Rico, USA, in 1989. Shoaib had the honor of meeting Muhammad Ali during the 1989 South Asian Games in Islamabad, where he considered Ali his idol. Unfortunately, due to the unavailability of a camera, he couldn't capture the moment.

After winning the national championship in 1990 and participating in the Kings Cup in Bangkok in 1991, Shoaib shifted to the United States in 1992. Later, he relocated to Canada with his Pakistani family, where he currently works as a truck driver.

Chaudhry Muhammad Shoaib, now a member of the National Weightlifting Club Punjab Stadium expressed his deep admiration for Muhammad Ali's legacy by visiting Cave Hill Cemetery in Kentucky, USA. There, he recited Fatiha at Muhammad Ali's grave and prayed for the forgiveness of the legendary boxer.
