IMF clarifies no commentary on Pakistani political issues, responds to Imran Khan's letter

International Monetary Fund (IMF) while responding to a letter from founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan clarified that it does not comment on local or political matters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
In a statement of the IMF Representative East Perris clarified that IMF does not intervene in such matters or cases but it encourages resolution of electoral disputes given in the economic situation.
However, IMF supports the promotion of business, investment and jobs.
IMF is ready for second review with government of Pakistan, statement reveals.
Earlier, PTI founder and former Prime Minister had sent a letter to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) demanding that it hold an audit of the election results before approving any new loan for Islamabad.
