Resolution seeks acquittal of Imran Khan moved in Punjab Assembly

Resolution demanding release of founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan and other leaders has been mooved by Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) in Punjab Assembly (PA), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

As per the text it was demanded in the resolution that all the illegal FIRs registered against the leader of Muslim Ummah, Imran Khan, should be canceled immediately. text of the resolution.

Imran Khan should be released immediately and misuse of law should be stopped, further demanded in resolution.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Yasmin Rashid, Parvez Elahi, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Ejaz Chaudhry, Mian Mahmood Al Rashid and Sanam Javed and all other political prisoners should be released, the resolution demanded.

Illegal cases against Imran Khan have no legal status.

Retaliatory politics is not in the interest of the country nor is it in the interest of the people, text of resolution says.

All the cases are designed to distance Imran Khan from the people.

It was also demanded that innocent journalists Imran Riaz Khan and Asad Toor should also be released after ending the baseless cases.
