The Rescue 1122 Monday declared code red across Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel citing spokesperson for the Punjab Emergency Service.

“On the instructions of the Rescue 1122 director general, special arrangements will be made across Punjab,” said spokesperson for Rescue 1122.

“Code Red is for providing uninterrupted rescue services to the people and Muharram gatherings and processions,” he added.

“In areas where mobile service is suspended, people can make a call through PTCL or Rescue Mobile App. The provincial monitoring cell is monitoring operations across Punjab,” he stated.
