World needs to change opinion about Pakistan: Bilawal

Pakistan is ASEAN s oldest sectoral dialogue partner and wants to upgrade the partnership, FM’s interview to Singapore’s newspaper; Bilawal visits META headquarters

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in an interview with a newspaper in Singapore emphasized on the world to change its opinion about Pakistan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Bilawal gave a special interview to "The Straits Times" during his visit to Singapore on Friday.
Answering different queries, Bilawal said Singapore and other ASEAN countries can benefit immensely from the talent of Pak youth in Information and Technology (IT) related activities and other activities.
Bilawal said many freelancers in Pakistan are providing services in IT, telecom, e-commerce, data analytics, financial services, music, and health.
He said online commerce is on the rise in Pakistan as the Pakistani e-commerce market had expanded by 45 percent in 2021 and now it is expected to generate $7.67 billion in revenue in 2022.
The foreign minister said Pakistan is ASEAN's oldest sectoral dialogue partner and wants to upgrade its full dialogue partnership with this platform.
FM Bilawal said Pakistan gives importance to its relations with Singapore bilaterally and in the context of ASEAN as there is a lot of potential for cooperation between Singapore and Pakistan in trade.
Bilawal said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto visited Singapore in 1995 as the Prime Minister of Pakistan and now he is visiting to restore Pak-Singapore bilateral relations and accelerate bilateral exchanges.
He confirmed that Pakistan is keen to strengthen bilateral relations with Singapore in all dimensions.

Bilawal visits Facebook Headquarters

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during his official tour to Singapore also visited the Meta (Facebook) Asia Pacific Headquarters on Friday.
Bilawal highlighted the achievements and vast potential of the IT sector in Pakistan and also expressed his desire to increase cooperation between META and Pakistan.
