Public service is PML s priority, says Shujaat

Former prime minister Ch Shujaat Hussain has said the PML will stand by any party that work for public welfare. 

The PML attaches priority to public welfare, the party president said stressing the need for starting short-term schemes to alleviate poverty and joblessness.

He insisted that politicians must set aside mutual differences and join hands for bringing in betterment. The military admin has the history of taking steps to better public service delivery, he said, adding that whenever it came to power, it started better public service delivery within a week.

He said salaried persons have always been at receiving end while businessmen enjoy the backing of powerful people that was why they (businessmen) go for profiteering and hoarding. He urged the ruling PTI to do something special as half of its term ended but there is no end to public problems.
