Yamaha company has raised the prices of all of its motorcycles by Rs6,000 to Rs 7,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Yamaha’s top-of-the-chain YBR125G will now be available at Rs190,000 and Yamaha YB125Z will now cost Rs163,000 wherein YB125Z DX will be available in market for Rs175,500 after the price increased.

The YBR125’s new price is Rs181,000, the TV channel reported.

The prices came into effect from January 7. Yamaha revised its prices in October last year.

It is pertinent to note that two-wheeler industry is on a recovery path from June onwards after losing sales in April and May due to the closure of plants and sales networks all over the country amid Covid-19 pandemic.
