A couple and their daughter died on the spot when they were crushed by a speeding mini-truck in Hafizabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the three of a family breathed their last on the spot.

Their dead bodies were shifted to morgue while the process for their identification was under way.

The police have registered a case against the truck driver.

Earlier in the day, ten people were injured, three of them seriously, in a head-on collision between a car and mini-van in Hafizabad on Thursday.

The cause of the accident was said to he overspeeding and the injured included six women.

The injured were rushed to Trauma Centre for treatment.
