Summer vacations for Mirpur students announced

Azad Jammu Kashmir authorities on Thursday notified summer vacations in all public and private educational institutions of district Mirpur from June 10 to August 12, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Mirpur district Deputy Commissioner Amjad Iqbal issued a notification in this regard.

The Mirpur DC said that heads of public and private schools and colleges across the district were bound to implement the government notification.

He warned that schools must not hold any vacations or summer camps during the summer vacations.

The Mirpur district administrative head warned that strict action will be taken against institutions continuing any kind of educational activities amid summer vacation.

Amjad Iqbal said that all violator schools will be sealed and fined.

He said that these measures have been taken to protect the students amid extreme heat.
