Opposition contacts treasury members in Parliament Lodges to get favour

Opposition parties’ leadership has started individual meetings with the parliamentarians of the government side to get their favour in support of the No-Confidence Motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the opposition leaders are making contacts and holding meetings with the treasury members at their residences in the Parliament Lodges in Islamabad.
The report said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Nayyar Bukhari and Nadeem Afzal Chan using their personal contacts have held a special meeting with Nawab Sher Waseer and Noor Alam Khan.
They discussed the political situation in the country and the no-confidence motion in the meeting. The PPP leaders also appealed to government members to support the no-confidence motion.
While the Nawaz League leaders Sheikh Rohail Asghar and Sheikh Fayyaz-ud-Din held an exclusive meeting with Riaz Mazari, Raja Riaz and Amjad Farooq Khosa.
The sources said the meeting took place at Riaz Mazari's house in Parliament Lodges and the League leaders sought support from government members.
