Aon Sheikh hits back at Rajab Butt, says 'It's time to end the drama'
Pakistani content creator Aon Sheikh has finally broken his silence on the ongoing dispute with Rajab Butt, urging an end to the controversy while defending himself against the allegations circulating online.
Addressing the matter in detail, Aon said he has repeatedly tried to stay away from public disputes but felt compelled to respond after what he described as false allegations and edited material targeting him and his family. He also called for the online feud to end, saying both families deserve peace.
At the beginning of his latest vlog, Aon apologised to his followers for his long absence, explaining that the recent controversy had deeply affected both him and his family. He said he has always tried to avoid online conflicts but often finds himself becoming part of controversies despite making every effort to stay away from them.
Responding to the allegations against him, Aon claimed that fake screenshots, edited screen recordings and fabricated voice notes had been circulated to mislead the public. He maintained that he has every right to defend himself whenever false claims are made against him or his loved ones, adding that he has never initiated personal attacks and has only spoken publicly to clarify accusations directed at him.
Aon also dismissed claims that he planned to address the issue through podcasts or interviews. He said he already has his own platform to share his side of the story and revealed that although he has received several podcast invitations, he chose not to accept them because he does not want to turn the controversy into online entertainment.
However, he added that he has no objection to a respectful face-to-face discussion if everyone involved agrees.
Addressing another point of controversy, Aon claimed that a viral audio clip linked to him had been taken out of context. He told viewers that he had already uploaded what he described as the complete recording on his Instagram account so people could hear the full conversation before reaching any conclusions.
Concluding the vlog, Aon once again appealed for an end to the ongoing dispute, saying both families deserve peace and privacy. He urged social media users not to spread unverified information and maintained that he would only respond publicly when he believed false allegations directly affected him or those close to him.
