Three newly-appointed permanent judges of Islamabad High Court (IHC) took oath of office on Thursday at a ceremony held in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq administered the oath to Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of high court judges, lawyers and journalists.
President, Parliamentary Committee and Judicial Commission had approved the permanent status of the three judges, after which the Ministry for Law and Justice issued a notification of their permanent appointment.
