The flights operation at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport was suspended on Tuesday as thick fog blanketed the area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Air Traffic Controller was not allowing any flight to land as the visibility at the runway was only 50 metres.

Three flights including PK-9742 coming from Jeddah were not permitted to land due to the thick fog. All the flights were hovering over the airport.
