Punjab CM inaugurates School Meal Programme in Mankera

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the School Meal Programme in Danish School in Mankera in Bhakkar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also directed the upgrade of three schools in Mankera, after which a notification was issued in this regard.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also distributed lunch boxes among the girls' students and visited the Government Primary School Kesanwala.
During her visit, Maryam Nawaz expressed her pleasure after taking notice of the desk made with a pack rapper.
The CM was informed that desks made from recycled milk cartons can be used for up to 40 years, and the recycled furniture is not damaged by rain and temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz mixed with the girls' students. Talking with the Chief Minister, one girl student said, “I am looking at you daily on TV, but today I met you”.
Maryam Nawaz advised the girls to drink milk daily use healthy diet. 
Upon reaching Danish School, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, wearing a white turban, held the hands of two children and brought them with her for the inauguration.
Maryam Nawaz also celebrated birthday of three girls who belonged to Balochistan. She cut the cake on this occasion and expressed her best wishes for them.
Later, Maryam Nawaz had lunch with the girls' students. During the briefing, the CM was informed that the CM Meal Programme is continuing in 8319 schools of 13 districts of Punjab. 4309 boys' schools and 4010 girls' schools are availing this programme.
Under the Coal Meal Program, 33.7 million milk packs and 12.2 million biscuits were distributed. 
The School Meal Programme is successfully running in Bahawalnagar, Kot Addu, Bhakkar, Layyah, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Taunsa, Chiniot, Lodhran, and Vehari.
