The Rule of Deputy Commissioners (DC) have been imposed in the Punjab province again from the starting of the year 2022, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Saturday.

According to the channel report, the DC Raj was enforced in Punjab and all the powers of the local bodies were passed to the Deputy Commissioners.

On Saturday, the deputy commissioners took over the charge of Administrator in the province and they will rule until the next local government in Punjab.

As per the report on the channel, the commissioners will only supervise now.
