Two traffic cops shot dead in Lakki Marwat attack
Two traffic policemen breathed their last after armed men opened fire on them in Lakki Marwat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The deceased were later identified as Israel and Sanaullah. The armed accused also took away their weapons with them.
The incident took place on Long Khel Road near Gul Baz Dehkan.
Police sources said that both the policemen were going from the village of Long Khel to Taja Zai Adda to perform their duties.
Interior Minister condemns attack
Interior Minister has strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting traffic police officers carried out by Fitna al-Hindustan in Lakki Marwat.
While paying solemn tribute to the martyred police officers, namely Sanaullah and Israel, Interior Minister commended their bravery and ultimate sacrifice.
He expressed his deep condolences while conveying heartfelt solidarity with the grieving families of the fallen heroes.
He stated: “We stand in full solidarity with the families of our martyrs, the courage shown by our heroes in the face of terror reflects the steadfast resolve and spirit of our security forces.”
Minister Naqvi paid tribute to the unwavering bravery and commitment of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Police.
While lauding their valor, he remarked ““Sanaullah and Israil embraced martyrdom with dignity. Their sacrifice is eternal, and the nation will remember them with pride and gratitude.”
