Dar holds talks with British Foreign Minister
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a detailed telephonic discussion with Britain’s Foreign Minister David Lammy, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Shafqat Ali Khan said that during the talks, both dignitaries discussed the United Nations Security Council, including expanded interaction forums between the two countries.
Both leaders agreed to keep in touch with each other and will meet on the sidelines of the United Nations Security Council meeting in New York during the current month.
Earlier on May 17, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with the UK’s Foreign Secretary David Lammy in Islamabad.
He extended a warm welcome to Foreign Secretary David Lammy on his first official visit to Pakistan.
The two leaders held detailed discussions on recent developments in South Asia, particularly the situation following the ceasefire understanding between Pakistan and India.
