Three Baboons recovered from birds shop

The Sindh wildlife officials recovered three Baboons from a bird shop in Khayaban-e-Sehar in Defence area of Karachi on Sunday.

According to officials, the raid was carried out on a tip-off about presence of the Baboons, kept in the bird shop illegally. About worth of the baboons, they informed that one baboon costs Rs100,000. The Baboons will be kept in Safari Park or Zoological Garden till a final decision about them.

Keeping animals as pets, especially wild animals, has become a popular trend and sometimes people opt for illegal ways to get their favorite pet animals, which otherwise are not suitable to be kept as pets.
