Pakistan People Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto has said Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a cut in prices of petroleum products and power in a bid to prove that he feels strong concerns for inflation-hit people.
Addressing the participants of the long march, he said: “Before the start of the long march, he premier increased petrol price by Rs12 per litre and after the launch of public march, he brought down the price by Rs10 per litre to show that he too feels for the inflation-hit people.
“But, we know that our PM is a liar. He is habitual of taking U-turns. The march will go on and we will get rid of him”
The rally accorded a warm welcome. The PPP supporters shouted slogans in favour of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his caravan was showered with rose petals.
He claimed that after having seen the sea of people marching to the federal capital, the ‘selected’ prime minister started feeling nervous and Imran Khan sent his ministers to Sindh to counter the march.
