Year’s 6th polio case reported from Thatta

Number of polio cases continued to rise in Pakistan as another case has been reported from Sindh’s Thatta district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) this is the fourth case reported from Sindh this year.
The total number of poliovirus cases reported this year has reached six.
Last year, 74 polio cases were reported in the country including 27 cases were reported from Balochistan, 23 polio cases were reported from Sindh and one polio case each was reported from Islamabad and Punjab last year.
