Islamabad police seek Punjab, KP help to nab 25,000 criminals

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have sought help from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to nab 25,000 criminals and for this, the authorities have decided to computerize the data of these criminals in a bid to make the capital a crime-free city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Islamabad IG Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman has confirmed the computerization of the criminals’ data.
“The data of wanted accused will be computerized soon by Islamabad police and all the measures are being taken to make the city crime free,” the IG said.
Earlier, senior officers of ICT provided awareness for the prevention of coronavirus in the light of the orders of IG Islamabad Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman. SSP Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer accompanied by senior officers visited the Jinnah Supermarket.
