JI leader booked for holding illegal gathering
A case has been registered against a Jamaat-e-Islami leader for holding a political function without getting permission from authorities in Alipur North, Muzaffargarh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the TV channel, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Sirajul Haq was also present in the political gathering.
It has been reported that the police lodged an FIR against the JI leader Rana Shamshad in which the police maintained that there was no implementation of SOPs at the political party function as per the Punjab government’s Fourth Scheduled Persons list.

As per the FIR, Muzaffargarh Police Station Saddar registered the case against Rana Shamshad under Anti-Terrorism Act 11E.
