Bannu residents vented their rage over unannounced and prolonged electricity outages by attacking the Wapda office on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The outraged mob demonstrated against concerned authorities for unscheduled electricity loadshedding outside the Wapda office and blocked the Bannu-DI Khan road for traffic. They chanted slogans against the government. 

The protesters claimed that electricity situation remained the same despite numerous negotiations. Such atrocities can no longer be tolerated, they added.

“We will not call off the demonstrations unless we are not assured of the uninterrupted electricity supply,” said an angry protester.
