Siraj feels strong concerns for Palestinians

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has felt strong concerns for the Palestinians, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

“Israel has been bombarding Gaza for 24 days and more than 18,000 tonnes of explosives have been used, killing more than 8,000 innocents including elderly people, women and children,” Siraj said while addressing a press conference at Mansoora in Lahore.

Flanked by Liaquat Baloch, Amirul Azim, Qaiser Sharif, Asif Qazi and Javed Kasuri, he said hospitals and schools are also being targeted.

He added: “There is no food, water or medicine in Gaza. It has become a pile of rubble. The world powers and the Muslim rulers are not doing anything. World actors have announced their support to Palestinians, but our rulers are sleeping on it t. “

Siraj announced the Gaza March in Sialkot on November 12 and in Lahore on November 19 and vowed to continue the movement for Palestinians.

“I am grateful to the people of Pakistan who have donated more than Rs1 billion to help Israel atrocity victims. So far 2200 doctors have been registered with JI  for serving in Gaza. If the cowardly Muslim rulers had not been an obstacle, millions of Muslims would have gone to Gaza and helped them there," he added.

“The caretaker government is adding to public problems on the instructions of the IMF. The caretaker government has increased the gas bill by 172%.

“The government has not abolished its VIP culture. People are finding it difficult to make both ends meet.

“The caretaker government is doing everything except holding elections. However, the JI movement will go on.

He stressed the need for a level playing field.
