Who will be the next Balochistan Chief Minister if Jam Kamal resigns?
The ruling party—BAP leadership Friday started considering the name of Sardar Saleh Bhootani for the slot.
According to the 24News HD TV Channel, the senior leadership of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) started consultations for the nomination of the new CM.
Initially, three names were being considered including Sardar Mohammad Saleh Bhootani, Nawabzada Tariq Magsi and Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.
Sardar Saleh Bhootani’s name was top of the list for the slot of the chief ministership. While Tariq Magsi was also being discussed as a second priority for the post.
Though Mir Quddus Bizenjo has already served Balochistan as CM but top leadership was not feeling at ease with his stances.
Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had already hinted to accept anyone other than Jam Kamal as the new CM Chief Minister.
On the other hand, the differences in the party have also come to the surface as organizers of seven divisions have decided to resign against CM Jam Kamal.
A special meeting of the divisional organizers of the BAP was held in Quetta on Friday and decided to send their resignations to the party president.
