Smog is likely to increase due to climate change this year too, reported 24NewsHD TV on Friday.
Smog will increase the air pollution while residents of Lahore will also be badly affected.
According to Deputy Director Meteorological Department Ali Ijaz, smoke from brick kilns, steel mills, factories and traffic is a major cause of pollution which pollutes the air in winter with fog and moisture.
Citizens are worried about rising air pollution, as the air quality index exceeds 200. There are fears that climate change will further affect the atmosphere next week.
