Successful MDCAT students protest against re-conducting test in Peshawar

Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) students and their parents Saturday staged a protest outside the Peshawar Press Club against the decision to re-conduct MDCAT 2023, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial cabinet decided that MDCAT will be conducted once again. The decision was communicated to the Peshawar High Court.

The students called it an injustice to the successful students who passed the exam and made concessions to the people who failed.

Protestors said that instead of cancelling the test, action should be taken against the mafia, they termed it a ‘victory for the mafia’ while urging for an investigation into the test results.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial cabinet decided on 28 September to re-conduct the MDCAT due to allegations of massive cheating in the exam held on September 10.

The decision was communicated to the Peshawar High Court.
