PAF pilot files harassment case against woman

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot stationed at M.M. Alam Airbase in Mianwali has filed a complaint with Mianwali's Saddar Police, accusing a woman of blackmail after he declined her marriage proposal, says a report circulating on Pakistani media.

According to the First Information Report (FIR No. 232/25), the woman—identified as "A," a resident of Chah Hameedwala, Gadayi Shumali in Tehsil Dera Ghazi Khan—has been charged under sections 419, 420, 500, 506, and 211 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), along with Section 25-D of the Telegraph Act of 1985.

The pilot reported that he first met the woman through social media, where she introduced herself as “Rafia” from Multan. During their conversations, she allegedly claimed she was going through a difficult time and expressed interest in marrying him.

The two later met in person on April 24, 2025, in Multan. It was during this meeting, according to the pilot, that her true identity was revealed—her real name was “A,” and she had been using a fake social media profile.

Suspicious of her behavior, the pilot decided to cut off all contact. He alleged that after he rejected her marriage proposal, she began harassing him with repeated phone calls and threats of “serious consequences” if he refused to comply.

He further claimed that she threatened to falsely accuse him of rape and alleged she had a history of blackmail, referencing a 2021 case filed against her at the Women Police Station in Multan under Section 376, which he believes was also based on false charges.
