Some influential people subjected two policemen to torture in Gujranwala when the latter recovered motorcycles from them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Footage has also surfaced in which goons could be seen beating up Siddique, the constable, in full public view. 

According to details, Baghbanpura police had recovered motorcycles from the criminals sometime back which infuriated them who along with their hired men attacked the sub-inspector as well as a constable in a market. 

Although the former managed to flee, the constable could not prove to be lucky enough to escape the wrath of these men. 

Police later said they had arrested two of the suspects while a search for the remaining persons seen in the video was underway, and that soon they would also be in police custody.
