Girl’s hanged body found in Karachi

Police found the dead body of a girl with a rope around her neck in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The incident took place near a restaurant located in the NPT Society Karachi. The deceased was later identified as Iqra, who was 15 years old.

Soon after receiving the report, a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to a hospital for necessary legal proceedings.

Earlier in December 2026, three women were found dead in a Karachi apartment under unexplained circumstances, police in Sindh province.

Karachi police reported that the victims were discovered in their residence in the city’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal neighbourhood.

Police identified the women as Sameena, 52; her 19-year-old daughter, Samreen; and her 22-year-old daughter-in-law, Maha.

Zubair Nazir Ahmed Sheikh, deputy prosecutor for East Karachi, said investigators had obtained initial leads but declined to share details. He said police were alerted to the bodies by Mohammad Iqbal, Sameena’s husband. “Both father and son are under observation,” he added.
