Establishment Division reshuffles nominations for 39th Senior Management Course

The Establishment Division has further reshuffled the nominations of Grade 19 and equivalent officers for participation in the 39th Senior Management Course (SMC), which is mandatory for promotion to Grade 20.

In this regard, the Establishment Division has issued an official letter to the Rector, National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore. According to the letter, the nomination of Muhammad Wasif Saeed, Director General Food Safety and HF, Pakistan Administrative Service, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been withdrawn. In addition, 22 new nominations have been made, while the training stations of three officers have been changed.

The additional nominations include officers from various services and departments. Among them are Muhammad Anil Zafar of the Foreign Service (Consul, Bahrain), Shiraz Ali and Faiqa Abdul Hai, Deputy Secretaries Senate Secretariat, Nasreen Fatima, Director IT, Muhammad Adeel Pervez of the Information Group, Shabiha Abbas, Director DEMP Lahore, and Saima Butt, Deputy Press Registrar, Ministry of Information.

Other nominated officers include Farast Ali Shah, MEO Military Lands and Cantonments Group Multan, Sibtain Raza, Deputy Director HQ Military Lands and Cantonments, Asghar Khan and Aftab Ahmed, Additional Directors at National Accountability Bureau Headquarters, Kashif Mustafa, Additional Director Investigation Corporate Crime Circle FIA Lahore, Syed Rizwan Shah, Additional Director Investigation FIA AHTC Circle Peshawar, and Syed Ali Imam Zaidi, Additional Director Investigation FIA PAC/ACW Headquarters.

The list also includes Iftikhar Ali Haideri, awaiting posting in the Capital Development Authority, Mubashir Ali Shah, Director Editing Senate Secretariat, senior officials from Pakistan Ordnance Factories including Shaukat Ali Rahimoon, Imran Ali Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Riaz Hussain Ansari, as well as Dr. Syed Waseem Abbas, Director State, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics Lahore, and Engineer Irfan Shahzad, Director Technical, Peshawar Development Authority.

According to the Establishment Division, the nominated officers will undergo training at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) campuses in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar from January 19, 2026, to May 8, 2026. All officers have been directed to report to their respective NIPA campuses by January 16, 2026.

The Establishment Division has warned that non-participation or refusal to attend the mandatory training may result in action under the Civil Servants (Promotion) Rules, 2019.
