Govt announces four public holidays on Eid

The federal government has announced four public holidays on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

According to an official notification released by the Cabinet Division on Monday, public holidays will start from June 6 to 9 June (Friday to Monday). 

Private offices and businesses are also expected to follow suit, although final decisions will vary by the employers. 

The notification states that the holidays have been declared in continuation of the Cabinet Division's circular dated December 23, 2024, regarding public and optional holidays. Punjab government has also announced four holidays on Eid from June 6 to June 9, 2025 and notification in this regard has also been released. 

Balochistan government has announced four holidays in the province on Eid. In Balochistan, Eid holidays will be observed from June 5 to 8.
