Textile sector seeks tax-free budget

Former Zonal Chairman of Pakistan Hoisery and Manufacturing Association, Khawaja Amjad, has said that a tax-free budget is needed at the hour to bring ill industries back on track, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Talking with City41, Khawaja Mohammad Amjad said that “if our exports increase, then our economy will also move forward”.
He warned that if the government fails to show its flexibility, then the textile sector will face dire consequences.
He said that the withdrawal of all unnecessary taxes is essential to bring down the production expenditure.
