Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir Tuesday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Prime Minister’s House, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Inter Services Intelligence (IS) Director General Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum was also present during the meeting.

The Army Chief gave a briefing to the Prime Minister on the professional affairs of the Pakistan Army.

A briefing was also held on the border and internal security situation while Army Chief's visit to China was also discussed.

The meeting also discussed decisions and implementation of the National Security Committee.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence in the preparations and ongoing operations of the Pakistan Army.
