Govt ‘decides’ to call National Assembly session
The federal government has decided to summon National Assembly session on May 5, 2025 to discuss the Pakistan-India border tension, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The decision was taken during a special meeting presided over by Minister for Defence Khawaja Mohammad Asif at the Parliament House in Islamabad.
During the National Assembly session, a resolution will be adopted to condemn Indian false flag operation which already brought two nuclear armed countries on the brink of war.
Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) will also discuss several issues related to national security and law and order situation.
It is necessary to mention here, that Khawaja Mohammad Asif is also Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in the National Assembly.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting include Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister of State Barrister Aqil and Secretary Law and Parliamentary Affairs.
