PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was rushed to a hospital in Islamabad on Thursday after his health deteriorated in Adiala Jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The former foreign minister suddenly fell sick after which Special Secrets Act Court Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain granted permission to Qureshi to visit a hospital.

The PTI leader, who is currently in prison on judicial remand in connection with cipher case, was then taken to Pakistan Institute Of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad for treatment by the Adiala Jail administration.

Ailing Qureshi now doing well

Former foreign minister and PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who was feeling unwell due to pain in his gall bladder, is now absolutely fine, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Sources told 24News that following his checkup, doctors at the Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi had given him a painkiller.

Denying that Qureshi would be taken to hospital today, they informed that the PTI leader would be shifted to hospital only when documents related to his disease were complete.
