Protests continue for fourth day in AJK on call of Public Action Committee

Protest continues for the fourth day in Azad Kashmir on the call of the Public Action Committee. All business centers, offices, educational institutions, transport remain closed in Muzaffarabad and other big cities of AJK valley. 

The strike has paralyzed life in AJK. Three people had lost their lives in Muzaffarabad as a result of clashes between the protesters of the Awami Action Committee and the police. More than 20 were injured in firing near Dhirkot yesterday. 

The Public Action Committee will continue its protest until its demands are met, said Shaukat Nawaz Mir, member of the core committee. He said, “respected ministers who came from Pakistan should notify us of our basic points, we will hold discussions”.
