The federal government removed the Pakistan Television (PTV) Managing Director Mubashir Tauqeer, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Friday.
According to the report, the government has given an additional charge of the PTV MD to Grade 21 officer Sohail Ali Khan.
The report said that Sohail Ali Khan has also been appointed as Additional Information Secretary and a notification has been issued in this regard.
The channel report said that bureaucrat Sohail Ali Khan has served as Radio Pakistan (RP) Director General.
