Driving Innovation: Transforming Lives and Industries
In today’s world, technology is reshaping how we live, work, and solve problems. Over the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of working on projects that not only push the boundaries of innovation but also make a real difference in people’s lives. My journey has taken me through exciting challenges in areas like business continuity, accessibility, and fault diagnostics—each one teaching me the power of technology to create meaningful change.
Building Resilience in Business
One of the biggest challenges businesses face is staying resilient during disruptions. At 1Key Solution, I led the development of a system called the Global Disaster Recovery with AI-Orchestrated Failover. This project was all about helping businesses bounce back quickly from outages. By combining Azure Site Recovery with smart decision-making tools, we managed to cut downtime by 40% and save companies £250,000 annually.
What made this project special wasn’t just the numbers—it was seeing how technology could give businesses peace of mind. Knowing that their systems could recover quickly meant they could focus on what mattered most: serving their customers.
Making Technology Inclusive
Technology has the power to bring people together, and that’s exactly what we aimed to do with Deaftawk at Panacea Logics. This platform was designed to help the deaf and hard-of-hearing community communicate more effectively. By improving translation accuracy by over 40% and scaling the platform to serve more than 8,000 users across five countries, we were able to make a real impact.
Deaftawk’s recognition with the Global Inclusion Award 2022 was a proud moment for our team. But more than the award, it was the stories from users—students accessing education, professionals thriving in their careers—that reminded me why we do what we do. It’s about breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for everyone.
Solving Problems with Fault Diagnostics
At Code Frenetics, I worked on a project that tackled a very different kind of challenge: fault diagnostics. We built a system that helps businesses identify and fix issues faster. By combining different types of data and using advanced tools, we improved accuracy by 32%, reduced resolution times from 36 hours to under 2 hours, and cut product returns by 27%.
This wasn’t just about technology—it was about solving real problems for real people. Whether it was a factory avoiding costly downtime or a customer getting their product fixed faster, the impact was tangible. It’s projects like these that remind me how technology can make life easier in ways we often take for granted.
Giving Back to the Community
One of the most rewarding parts of my journey has been sharing what I’ve learned with others. As a volunteer trainer with The Citizens Foundation, I designed and taught a C# programming course. Seeing an 85% completion rate and watching my students go on to secure jobs or start their own businesses has been incredibly fulfilling.
For me, it’s not just about teaching skills—it’s about opening doors. In countries like Pakistan, where opportunities in tech can be limited, helping someone take their first step into the industry feels like a small but meaningful way to give back.
Looking Ahead
As I think about the future, I’m excited about the chance to contribute to the UK’s thriving tech ecosystem. The UK’s focus on innovation, ethical technology, and digital transformation aligns perfectly with my goals. I want to work on projects that tackle big challenges in areas like healthcare, energy, and transportation, while also mentoring the next generation of tech talent.
At its core, technology is about people. It’s about solving problems, creating opportunities, and making life better. That’s what drives me, and that’s what I hope to bring to the UK—a passion for using technology to make a difference.
