The PTI core committee that met with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair on Friday renewed its resolve to continue with concerted efforts to win the war on coronavirus.

The meeting mulled over the measures being adopted to cope with the challenge emerged after the breakout of coronavirus across the globe.

The core committee made the decision to provide the poor and needy with financial aid at the earliest.

According to sources, the meeting remained undecided about the demand for taking suggestions from the elected reps over the matters of Tiger Force and aid package.

PM Imran shared construction industry package with the core body of the ruling party that showed satisfaction at the steps being taken to cope with the challenge.

The meeting was briefed about the decisions made by the national coordination committee.

“The situation is under control,” PM Imran Khan said, adding that supply of medical instruments is being ensured across the country.
