Federal government seeks Artist Welfare Fund forms

The federal government Wednesday sought forms of Artist Welfare Fund. The funds would be distributed in the next year.
Also, the Punjab Artist Support Fund sent the details of deserving artists to the federal government.
Reportedly, the Centre increased the allocation for the Artists Welfare Fund to Rs1billion, a move welcomed by senior actors who urged maintaining merit and ensuring transparency.
Previously, the allocation was Rs750 million. music and through traditional musical instruments and won applause.
