Pillion riding banned in Quetta

Amid rising law and order situation, the Balochistan caretaker government on Saturday announced a ban on pillion riding and display of weapon in Quetta under Section 144, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The provincial Home Department said pillion riding was banned from February 2 to February 5 in the provincial capital.

The decision to ban the pillion riding was taken in view of the recent surge in terrorism and target-killing incidents in Quetta.
