LGH puts staff on high alert ahead of Kashmir Day and Basant
Lahore General Hospital has completed emergency preparedness measures ahead of Kashmir Day and the Basant season, placing medics on high alert to handle any medical emergencies, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
According to the Principal Prof Farooq Afzal, all types of leave for hospital employees from February 5 to 8 have been banned, warning that strict departmental action would be taken against absentee staff.
The decision was taken to ensure uninterrupted medical services during the sensitive period.
Hospital administration confirmed that outpatient department (OPD) services would also remain operational as usual on February 6 and 7.
