Gunmen open fire during funeral over property dispute

Gunmen opened fire during a funeral which was being held in Girja Road area of Dhamyal police station in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident of firing by the gunmen took place over a land dispute.

The relatives had reached the site of the funeral prayer to offer their last respect to their dear one and bury the dead body.

Accused Adil and his companions opened fire during the grave-digging.

The relatives protested against the attack by keeping the dead body on the road.

The protesters demanded that action should be taken against those who opened fire on them and wanted to occupy their inherited land.
