CM Punjab orders advanced training for doctors in intravascular surgery

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed for procurement of advanced medical equipment for intravascular surgery.

She was talking to a delegation of Board of Directors of Oklahoma Heart Hospital Dr. Naeem Tahir Khaili in Lahore today.

She also directed introduction of advanced cardiac treatment procedures at Jinnah Institute of Cardiology and Nawaz Sharif Medical City.

The meeting decided that American doctors would provide training to local doctors in modern intravascular surgery techniques. The meeting also agreed on a proposal to provide training to doctors from Children’s Hospital, Nishtar Hospital and Jinnah Hospital.
