A significant education scandal has emerged in Rahim Yar Khan, where numerous unregistered colleges have been functioning without oversight, threatening students' academic future, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Authorities have revealed that these institutions have been misleading students by operating without proper registration, directly breaching the education laws.

The Deputy Director Colleges has issued a directive, mandating an immediate suspension of admissions and registration with the DPI Office in Lahore, or be prepared to face the law.

The scandal took on heightened urgency when it emerged that one of the colleges involved in a recent tragic accident involving female students was among the unregistered.

In the wake of a swift investigation, 12 unregistered colleges have been prohibited from enrolling further students.

Among the institutions identified as unregistered are Imperial Secondary School and College Liaquatpur, Informatics College Liaquatpur, Sir Syed College Minthar, Orient College Rahim Yar Khan, Prime College Rahim Yar Khan, and The Knowledge School and College Rahim Yar Khan. Also on the list are Al-Aziz College Tarinda Sawai Khan, Rangers Public School and College Khanpur, Royal College Feroza, Al-Zainab College Jetha Bhutta, and Bright Future College Allahabad.

Authorities have accused these institutions of deceiving students and have issued a clear warning to suspend all operations at once and complete the registration process.

Failure to comply will lead to firm legal action.

The district administration has reaffirmed its commitment to taking firm action against unauthorized educational institutions and to shield students from academic exploitation.
