40 more Pakistanis deported from eight countries
Pakistanis expeled from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Cyprus, South Korea, Senegal, and Mauritius: Visa issues and blacklisting lead to mass deportations
A total of 40 Pakistanis have been deported from eight countries, including Oman, Cyprus, South Korea, and Senegal, while three others have been detained in foreign nations, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to the immigration sources, six Pakistanis were declared "undesirable" and deported by immigration authorities in Cyprus, Korea, Mauritius, and Oman.
Meanwhile, four Pakistanis were denied entry into some Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Oman, due to blacklisting issues.
The TV channel also reported that three Pakistanis were deported from the UAE over expired Turkish residence permits and other legal violations.
Saudi Arabia expelled 21 Pakistanis after they completed their sentences or faced additional allegations, while two others were deported from Oman and Qatar for visa expiry.
In Senegal, three Pakistanis suspected of human trafficking were deported. The deportees from Senegal were handed over to AHTC (Anti-Human Trafficking Cell) for further questioning.
Immigration officials also confirmed that one of the deportees from Oman was handed over to the Larkana police for legal proceedings.
